The central skywell floods the museum with natural light, creating spaciousness, clarity and a symbol of hope. HEM presents the world’s one and only double-helix staircase made by slick concrete, of which the structure is commonly known as “DNA staircase”. this dynamic presents the rich layers of the space that can only be achieved by the dual-spiral design.
